I don’t see dimensions.

DCF is 54”.

Their bathtub floor is 8” high x 2.

That comes out to about 38” wide.

I just happened to come across this yesterday while looking around at the dome prototypes from Durston and Tarptent.

I was intrigued at the design at first. I am not a tent designer and frankly know nothing about it which leads into questions.

Does a single wall tent work without troughs for the condensation between the bathtub and the walls? It seems everything would run down to the floor and collect.

No vestibules or coverage for door. Which is very exposed with the flap dropping in or out. Depending on how you roll it. Front entrance only. Two person will effectively be a one person, by standard, if you want to store external gear somewhere other than outside. I think this will fit a certain niche for PCT travelers, as this is what it’s marketed for. Not for me, per se, falls short in several places. But is nice to see some competitive nature in the market. Will wait for improvements

Good call on the no coverage door, that would be bad news in the rain. I love vestibules and a dry pitch so I’m content with my xmid. Although I’d love to give the DCF version a try!
I’m not sure why but I am just surprised at the weight of the tent: with poles 20.4 oz.

It will be interesting to see the weights from tarptent and Durston on their freestanding tents. It is really great to see all these designers and their innovations!

The price!  HooooWEEEE!  Eye watering.

Wonder when ultralight 2P (1.5P?) shelters breaking $1k will become common?
