Remote canister stove seems good.  Better stability when mated with their larger pots and skillet.

But I don’t see any mechanical means to facilitate inverting the canister and running in liquid feed mode. In other words:  the fuel line doesn’t appear to run over the burner, nor is there any sort of heat sink running from the burner head down to the fuel line.  That’s a disappointment.

It’s possible that because of the regulator it can’t be used with the canister inverted.

I downloaded the manual, but there isn’t any mention of using the stove any other way.

Edit: Hikin Jim did a review of the stove and his review confirms it’s not designed for inverted use.

They have big pots and skillets out this year. It may be to give them a more stable base.

I got my first remote canister stove, essentially EXACTLY like the MSR, in 1976…what’s old is new again :)
