Hope some of you can help.

I purchased an MSR FlyLite (still within the one year return time though).  I love the space – and so does my wife who doesn’t like to usual claustrophobic lightweight tents.   I heard it collects rain though?

I live in California, not much rain, but If we were in the Sierras and got caught in a storm it would suck to have dripping all night.  I have dreams of doing the John Muir with my wife – need a spacious and trustworthy tent.

Does anyone have any experience with the MSR FlyLite?  Is it OK in the Rain?  Condensation issues (not likely a big problem in California)?  Thanks for any input!

I had it’s predecessor, the Fast Stash. It took in a lot of water during a heavy rain storm. Water came through all the seams, and at the storm door zippers. Wind + rain = wet hikers.
