Anyone familiar with the hooded jackets from Mountain Equipment? I’m considering the Skyline (6.3 oz of 700 fill for a coat that weighs just under 16oz for $225). Specs seem really good.

No personal experience but feedback from New Zealand is that they run a size small

I’ve tried on a couple of their jackets, and seems they do a great job with their down line. Price/specs seems great. I’m on the smaller end of large and the size L fit well.

Im familiar with them… Top notch gear!

We sell them at my store and i went to the buyer thing in Wa state and got to see their whole line. They employ a dr of down insulation. Afaik theres only two in the world, and the other works in fashion. Their sleeping bags are pretty sweet. I want the kryos soo bad.

My buddy skis in their alpine pants an their 3layer gtx jacket. My wife has the dewline? jacket. I have used an eclipse p/o. All of it is top notch. They use pontetorto and toray fabrics, have good tailoring…  all good

The fit is euro, sorta thin and fit.
