Just read the mostly glowing BPL review on this jacket and apart from some areas wetting out it seems great.
would the light weight specs be a limiting factor in its use? The area of concern for me would be the shoulder sections as I imagine long term wear from  backpack straps may be detrimental re its water shedding properties.
Open mind though,have folk had longer term experience in this regard?

Mine has seen maybe 15-20 trips. Â 3 season only w/ occasional rain. Â Stayed in my pack most of the time. Â No durability issues. Not super breathable, and not much room for other layers underneath, but good besides that.
