Monster 24 oz aluminum screw top can for thawing frozen water over flame

My experiment with the Monster can was a complete failure. I put it in the freezer overnight about 85% full and the next morning when I checked it out I saw that it has busted wide open with about a 4″ long vertical split. Just too thin.

Monte, I tried to post a photo of the bottles and the insulated cuben sleeves, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it. So, my suggestion is that you just hit your favorite grocery store and look for the Brita bottle. Like i mentioned, Sprouts sells the other version.
