Sign up if you want the Modified Toaks 750 size.
Once I combine the quantities of the different size pots I will contact those that signed up and ask what they want included in the kit. Some have indicated they are not interested in esbit and some indicate they are not interested in alcohol etc.

Dec 15, 2016 at 8:53 am #3440522Dan I hate to be a pain, I signed up for the 550 without handles but would rather do the 750 without handles if that’s possible.
Dec 15, 2016 at 9:08 am #3440528Dan,
As we discussed, I would like:
Custom Lite Trail Cook Kit (Trail Designs Ti Caldera Cone – Modified Toaks 750ml Pot – without handles – Ref. (POT-750-NH) – modified with a ridge in the pot).
I am not interested in the Brian Green Esbit Tray with no leak bread pan corners – Esbit stove bits (i.e., stove, fuel, etc.).
Would like the “Improved” Modified Starlyte Burner for Caldera Cone with lid.
Would also like the fuel bottle (1 fluid oz) with turret dispense cap.
Let me know if you have any questions about the request/order.
Thanks Again,
Steve
Dec 15, 2016 at 11:27 am #3440554Dan – Is the 750 is the same diameter as the 550 and 650? Is the ridge 1″ from the bottom? Can I order just the pot since I already have your previous offering? If so, sign me up!
Thanks – Russ
Dec 15, 2016 at 2:15 pm #3440586Russ, yes they are same diameter and the ridge is 1″ from bottom.
Yes, you can just get the pot.
Dec 21, 2016 at 7:23 am #3441294Just throwing my generic in my request in the proper thread. I would like TWO kits with the 750ml pot withOUT handles. Not sure I have need for the alcohol portion but might be cool to have so I’ll wait until I hear from you and obsess (i mean decide) in the mean time.

I’ll let this sign up sheet continue till December 26, 2016

Jan 14, 2017 at 3:32 pm #3445131Is it too late to be put on the list for a 750 wo handles esbit only
Jan 15, 2017 at 6:06 pm #3445332Sorry Fred, not going to be doing these kits again.
Jan 18, 2017 at 6:18 pm #3445911Cones have not arrived yet. They seem to have gotten lost in shipment somewhere around Memphis, TN
If they don’t arrive by Friday. All monies will be refunded.
Apr 19, 2019 at 6:54 pm #3589596Question goes out to those of you that use the pot w/o handles.
How do you pick up a pot full of hot water?
Why did you choose the 750?
I’m working on some kits using a unique straight wall design and need to know if I should include the 750 w/o
Thank you for your input.
Apr 19, 2019 at 7:51 pm #3589607I use my buff and lift/hold the top edge. With the 750 I can leave plenty of headroom (easier to pick up and pour) and still have enough for meal and a small hot drink. I like tea or cider at night. It’s a good piece of kit Dan.
Cheers.
Apr 20, 2019 at 2:19 am #3589644Thank you very much Christopher. Very helpful.
Someone emaailed me today asking about the 750 no handles. got me to thinking about them and how it would be to make up some kits if it would be worth while.
Pot grabbers/lifters…..does anyone use them?
Apr 20, 2019 at 5:14 am #3589666I use a strip of carbon felt I got off some outfit called Zelph some years ago.
I too like the 750. Pots with ridges at a custom height to suit our personal stove systems would tempt me.
Apr 22, 2019 at 12:35 am #3589850William, I ordered a few of the 750’s and will do some testing of the new windsheild/screen design.
Apr 22, 2019 at 3:11 pm #3589898I use mine for cooking in the pot and find the 750 to be the ideal size. The rim is usually not so hot that I can’t lift it out of the screen/stand with my bare hand. I really like this setup.
Apr 22, 2019 at 10:06 pm #3589941Thank you for sharing that with us. Do use ramen noodles as a base ingredient and then add tasty soft beef jerky :) or bacon ?
Apr 22, 2019 at 10:29 pm #3589946Pot grabbers/lifters…..does anyone use them?
I’m not sure if this was only directed at people who have your 750 ml, but I use the standard pot grabber like you pictured. I typically bring a pan to fry in and a pot to heat water for multiple people. Having one tool to hold all of them is quite nice.
Apr 23, 2019 at 1:58 am #3589961Everyone is encouraged to let us know if they use a pot lifter all the time or just ocasionally.
I’m trying to decide if I will include a pot lifter with the next kits I make. The kits will be unique. The design will be directed towards the use of canister stoves and Esbit users.
This is the design I will be testing to see if I like the feel of them. Anyone use this type/brand?
