Looking at the two larger mids, and having a Duomid and Ultramid2, I notice that the slope of each tent is a bit different, with the HMG’s being a bit steeper and the MLD a bit softer. Â With the base size and height of each larger mid is somewhat similar, anyone know if there is there more of a catenary cut on one or the other that lessens the slope angle of the side walls? Â I’ve had a Duomid XL before and didn’t like the low angle/slope of the back wall, creating a tight space for that back person and somewhat limiting the usable space. Â Hoping to find a full mid with steeper walls though taking into considering the price difference between HMG’s Dyneema and a MLD Silnylon option.
