MLD Solomid XL with Inner question

I have a DCF Solomid XL innernet that I use with my Locus Gear Hapi. I am 6’4″ and use a Thermarest X-Lite or Xtherm pad (2.5″ thickness). I am basically touching both ends. I can situate myself, so I do not have net in my face, but it’s not ideal.

I think you would be fine at 5’10”.

Hi. Any issues using the Solomid XL inner with the Hapi?  I’m thinking of picking up the LG Khufu. LG’s half inner is very tight, and the larger inners seem on the heavier side. I already own the DCF MLD inner that I use with a sil Duomid, so not an additional purchase. Thanks!

I didn’t have any issues with the Sololmid XL. It is a bit shorter than my Hapi Grande, but it is intended to have the pole outside the net given how narrow it is. I haven’t used it in a while, but I believe the hooks to attach the sides of the net to the walls of the Hapi lined up fairly well as well.

If your Duomid innernet opens at the top to allow the pole to go through to support the tent, it should work. The Khufu is a bit taller than the Solomid and Duomid innernets, which I believe both are 46″ tall. It wouldn’t be an issue if you used a dual pole setup, which is what I prefer.
