That’s an interesting product to potentially save a few ounces. Thanks for posting this.
Regarding the silpoly, if you’re ok with one that is slightly narrower, S2S makes a tarp-poncho that is seam-sealed at $135 and 8.1 oz , compared to  $240 for the MLD seam-sealed sil-poly.
Edit: apologies, I don’t know what’s going on with the formatting of my post. Funny fonts and missing dollar signs, etc.
S2S site says 8.1 oz, mine weighs 6.7 oz with its sack (my scale is accurate). It’s a little bit smaller (57″x104″) than the MLD (56″/62″x108″). I throw in a 0.7oz bungee belt+toggle for high exposed wind.
