Looking for user’s feedback on either of these two packs.  Are the inner seams finished with bias tape or are they exposed?  If exposed could they be seam sealed or taped?  Looking for a pack that would stand up to some rain, and while the material itself should, not so sure about how resistant the seams would be without some type of sealing. Yes, I know I can use a pack liner but prefer not to if I can get around it for other reasons.

Also if anyone has input as to comfort, fit and usability of one over the other.

I have a Dyneema X Core 22 and a Zimmer Pika and it’s a toss-up which one has more comfortable shoulder straps. I think the Zimmer might be more comfortable for me. Note the Pika has padded straps where the Quickstep has unpadded unless you ask for them.

I cant answer your questions about materials and taping.

I’m pretty sure Zimmer could accommodate any requests about taping. I recommend emailing him directly.
