I’m looking at getting a sleeping bag for winter/shoulder season to complement a quilt I use above freezing. I’m a warm sleeper with a large build and am looking at either the memo sonic 15 or WM badger. I do trips down to 0 degrees but most of the coldest temperatures on the Georgia AT and other trails in the southeast probably don’t justify a 0 degree bag.

Based on the loft and fill numbers am I off in ascertaining that the badger is much warmer than the sonic 15 and as warm as the sonic 0.

Hi Will, I own the badger as my winter bag it’s at least as warm or warmer as my 10 deg  quilt from enlighten equipment. I’ve had it down to – 17  in windy conditions but inside shelter with a tarp up for windbreak. And I’ve been comfortable at 15 cowboy camping on light to no wind night above Ridgeline. I can’t speak to the other comparison

Based on fill weights you are correct.  A Badger MF is a great bag and could probably take you below 15 easily with some additional clothing.  I wouldn’t think twice about choosing it.
