My first non job related hike longer than two nights from Hot Springs to Hampton, looking for any advice and gear recommendations. Ruck regularly with heavy weight(army), so planning to cover 15-20 miles a day which puts this trip at about 10 days. Still unsure about what MLD pack to go with, but know for certain my gear is just barely too large for a burn. Also uncertain how much food I will need to get from Hot Springs-Erwin.
