I’m curious about this sleeping bag, but I’m in the UK where Marmot products maybe aren’t as popular.  I know Marmot are a big brand, but some of their products, such as their lightweight tents, seem to be geared more to the USA market.

I can’t find any real reviews of this sleeping bag, and the pictures \ details on the Marmot website aren’t extensive.  For example, I can’t see whether or not it has a shoulder draft collar.  The description says it’s hand-filled in the USA, so presumably the shells are made overseas.

If you’ve seen\used one, how would you rate its build quality?

Are its temperature ratings realistic?

Also, is the cut similar to a Western Mountaineering mummy bag (such as the Summerlite, which I have)?

I filled-out a support form on the Marmot EU site a few days ago to request some additional specs of this sleeping bag, but haven’t yet received a reply.  This puts me off…

I couldn’t find anything on fill weight or shell weight. Also looks like the shoulder dimensions would be for very slender people. If you’re in Europe I don’t see how you could beat Cumulus.

Thanks!

On the EU site it lists the fill weight as 500g.  I’m quite slim\narrow, so was thinking a narrower bag might be better for me.  However I’m around the maximum height for the Medium bag, so I was trying to find out if there’d be sufficient internal length without the down being compressed at the ends.

I’m in the UK, so there’s be a bit of hassle (and extra duty and VAT) with a Cumulus.

There are obviously other options, but it’s tough trying to decide without full specs and being able to see the bags.
