Hi guys! I want to do some light backpacking and small water Tenkara fishing in the Mammoth Lakes area. I’d like to avoid all the hot action Fly Fishing areas, like Hot Creek etc. Small creeks with small fish preferred. Doesn’t have to be a known fly fishing river. Just a place I can hike too for maybe 4 miles out and then camp and fish. Known backpacking trails are preferred, like if they are listed on AllTrails or something. Catch and Release only locations are fine. I haven’t backpacked in the area enough to know it well. Thanks!
