Years back, I bought a Eureka Backcountry 1 tent from the outlet for cheap just to play around with or to take out when I dont care about weight. Now, I would like somthing similar only lighter materials, and I cant find anything that is remotely close to the size.
I could create a cuben fly for it and replace the poles with carbon fiber, but I would rather buy something with a lighter inner tent, and a vestibule.
Floor size: 8 feet by 3 feet. Center height: 3 feet, 2 inches. Weight: 3 pounds, 14 ounces. Around 3 pounds 4 oz without bags and stakes.
Is there anything out there, freestanding, around this size only lighter?
