I’ve had good luck with Duluth Trading’s “anti-plumber’s butt” t-shirts.  They have an extra 3 inches of length so they don’t become untucked when bending over, but they also work well for those of us who have long torsos.  A few of them are in wicking fabrics, so like polyester t-shirts from Dickies, it’s a lot less expensive than from outdoor companies.  Duluth Trading has generous sizing.  Maybe order one small and one medium to check the fit.

Another thing manufacturers sometimes do is make things small so it uses less materials so costs less.  Also, they can advertise a low weight.  If an insulated jacket is longer it provides more rain protection and adds warmth to a little more of your body.

Brynje has really long torso lengths.
