I just got my Sil Locus Gear Hapi Grande and matching inner. The Grande isn’t listed on the site but you can contact them to order it.
I’m 6’3″ and wanted something larger for backpacking. So far, this is really nice. I haven’t weighed it yet.
I screwed up seam sealing by trying to do it on the floor of my screened in porch. It folded over. Ugh.
It rained while we were at Luray Caverns and it stayed dry. I used an Aeon at Philmont and it was damaged due to user error. I also have a Duplex.
I really like the space in this tent compared to the other 2. I hated brushing my shoulder on the wall of the Aeon sitting up, particularly with the condensation.
This tent is longer than the Duplex, so my feet have a lot more room. It would also be better for 2 people than the Duplex.
The single side door is less convenient for 1 but more convenient for 2 than a single side door.
It really has no vestibule, but with more interior space, you can bring your gear inside.
I really need to use the DTPE to open up space inside.
I set it up in my yard, and one corner was sagging in. Last night I set up in the dark and did much better, much like Johnny Fever having better reaction times after drinking. It makes no sense, but it’s true.
