I purchased the LiteAF Large Bottom Food bag if anyone has questions. It seems pretty good and was a lot bigger than I was expecting. Also was lighter than they advertised on their website. I am taking it out on an initial trip over 4th of July.

You can read all of my first impressions here.

Or just check out the pictures and ask me questions:

Thanks for sharing, Mike. It looks similar to the bag I got from Zpacks.

Your link isn’t working. Can you check that?

Jim, thanks for the heads up. I think I fixed the link, let me know.

Wow, I think the biggest news here is that you can now edit your first post! :)

I had ordered one before I saw this review, but figured I’d wait until it arrived to say anything. I was going to just get the rock sack and cord, because my last one decided it wanted to stay up in a tree, but I went ahead and got the food bag too because this looked much easier to use than the old stuff sack I had been using.

This will be so much easier to use than what I had been using, even aside from the getting-stuck-in-a-tree problem.

This bag looks really great, but the website leaves a bit to be desired.  Did anyone have problems with getting this?  How much was shipping?  They appear to be in direct competition with the zpacks bear bag. Though this bag appears to have a few more options and it looks like they plan to have them in stock (vs Zpack 5 week lead time).

I purchased this bag, which is why I posted here. I am not affiliated with the company. Their website kinda stinks but its under construction, they literally just opened up.

I had no issues getting my food bag from them, and it came super quick! I just got back from my first trip with it (MIni Trans Catalina) and it worked great!

I just looked it up. It was $3.50, using the cheapest option. I live in the neighboring state, so I can’t say what California shipping would be.

Sorry just recovering from getting back from a mini trans Catalina hike.

I paid $3.50 for shipping to California!

Thanks! I had to get to far into the check out process to find out that answer. Looks like that are back in stock in a few days
