Lightweight Insulated Pants for Kids?

Wondering if anyone is aware of lightweight(-ish) insulated pants for kids. We have two pairs of Patagonia Puff-ball toddler pants for our girls that have been fantastic, but they’ve outgrown them (they’re now 7 and 5). There are lots of ski pants/snow bibs, but nothing really suitable for backpacking. I’ve considered ordering custom Goosefeet pants (which my wife and I have and love), but not sure I want to spend that much and I want something a bit more durable.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks!

I’d go with the cheapest and lightest ski pants you can find and cut off all the extra bits not needed for walking or simply pack a second pair of fleece pants plus wind shell. Heavier and more bulky but kids grow so fast and the S/H clothing has no resale value or very little.
An alternative that might be better would be kids size insulated skirts with adjustment to grow into, I’m sure Ben could do something like that pretty quickly, either down or APEX
