Anyone here have any first hand experience or insight on Lightheart Gear tents preferably the Duo in sil-poly. Came across an article on this tent in my search for a sil-poly tent and it has piqued my interest. Did a Google search and came up with some pretty positive reviews, but thought I would post here also in hopes that some of you might have personal thoughts.

I have an older solo of theirs in silnylon, and it is a well made tent, nice and roomy, with good ventilation. I had a Duo of silnylon briefly, but it didn’t work well for my partner; poles tended to get knocked out of alignment by him, inside the tent. The Duo seemed to get more condensation than other single wall tents I’ve used, but I note that there are now peak vents which may have fixed that problem.
Thanks d k. The poles on the interior give me a bit of pause, but I need to see it in the flesh to be sure. Condensation is another consideration for sure. The peak vents look like a great addition to the Duo though. Might have to take a drive up to Fletcher NC to take a first hand look at the Duo to put any doubts to rest.
The interior poles weren’t a problem for me, but they were for him.
I really like the Lightheart Gear company, hope you like the Duo.
