Lightest Hiking Boots with Firm sole for rocky terrain

I recently purchased a used pair of ScarpaCharmoz HD Mountaineering Boots with “Multi-density polyurethane and EVA midsoles that optimize weight and performance” that weigh 3 lbs, 6 oz per pair.  Heavy, but I love the firmness of the soles on rough terrain. They are very comfortable and virtually waterproof.   I do a lot of winter hiking in the Superstitions Wilderness in AZ and as much as I love my Merrells, the rocky trails are hard on my feet and I’d like a firmer sole.  I realize a firmer sole means more weight, but I’m wondering if I can have that in a boot lighter than the Scarpas.  Any suggestions?

Salomon x-alp mids are 40 oz per pair.  They are b1 mountaineering boots.

Not sure if they are still available but I bought some from bike24.de a few months ago.
