I am after an upgrade to my GoPro. I have a case for this camera which has a hot shoe but the microphone connection is a real mess with an adapter and chords everywhere. I think I may need to upgrade to a compact camera. What’s driving me is top-quality sound via a plug-in microphone and the ability to not have such a wide-angle shot at all times.
