Leki Speedlock repair

I have a Leki trekking pole with the Speedlock adjustments.   These are little levers that tighten down on the pole sections to adjust the pole length.  Being a loyal accolyte of Murphy, I can easily foresee one of these plastic levers breaking on the trail, leaving me without a usable trekking pole.

The only place I could find that sells the parts is Leki in the UK, where they charge exorbitant prices and apparently will not ship to the USA.

So, has anyone been able to find these replacement parts domestically ?   Am I being paranoid, and they aren’t really likely to break ?   Can I simply bring an ordinary nut/bolt/washer of the right size to make a field repair, providing there’s some way of tightening it up without bringing wrenches ?
