For all of you like me who have been shopping for cordage, you’ll be glad to hear Lawson Equipment is back in operation. I noticed the web site was taking orders last week. This morning I found this message from Lawson and Danielle Kline in my inbox:

“Hello! I hope this message finds you and your family well. I tried to send an email last week from our Shopify account, but it said that it failed.. So if you already received a version of this email, I am sorry for resending it.  But it is now slightly edited, as I have had more time to kick around what I wanted to say..  It has been a long while since I have sent an email.  This Mailchimp account says it was June 2022, announcing that our bar tensioners were finally back in stock.  Since that time, quite alot has actually happened, so I should have sent an email way before now…   As I am sure alot of you have wondered why we have been out of stock of alot of products for so long..
For several years now, we have had way more demand for our products than we could produce.  This has been a gift from God.  But the inability to meet demand was growing very old.  The lack of production was mainly due to us not being settled into a longer term workshop.  So from fall until spring, Me, My Dad and Danielle (with some extra interment help from my brother and my father in law) built a new workshop for the business.  We prepared the land, poured the foundation, framed the building, did all the electric, plumbing, put on the roof, and moved the business inside. The weather was extra wet and cold.  That caused the construction to go slower than expected, but overall it went great.  It was alot of fun building a workshop with my dad and my wife.  The building turned out very nice and it is great to finally be back in a workshop that we own, located on our on land.    I plan to sometime in the near future make a blog post on our website with some photos of the build.
That being said, We spent most of the summer digging our way out of our backlog of work.  Thanks to all of our patient customers who waited during this period.  We are finally starting to get caught up with production of products, but we are by no means fully caught up. Once we are, we will be bringing back some of our metal goods as well as some new stuff I was working on before we moved to Young Harris.  We are starting to get alot of cordage back in stock.  So if there is anything you are looking for that you do not see, or if there are some old products we used to make that you would like to see us produce again, or if you have any new product ideas, please be sure to let us know.
Thanks for your business and support over the years!  Without your patronage and your word of mouth marketing, this would all be a dream : )
Respectfully,
Lawson and Danielle Kline
