?? I’m looking at Stone, Olive and Black showing in stock size M right now.

Talking about the zip T not the hoodie.

I love mine as a UL sleep layer that’s as warm as a merino 250 but almost half the weight.

It gets the synthetic stink though. On longer trips I would probably accept the warmth penalty and bring my merino 120 just to keep my bag less smelly. Same for the long johns. I love them but they take on bum funk quickly and the 28″ inseam is a tad short (designed with high top hunting boots in mind likely). Still, i like them a lot. The olive green color is very stealthy which I like.

I am a big fan of Kuiu’s super merino wool in addition to their Peloton 97 stuff. Their wool seems slightly beefier than IB/SW. If anyone has a southwest airlines credit card you also get 4 point per $ with Kuiu

Good info Roger, thanks. That’s my main intended use as well. Disappointing about the stink, they make a point of touting that this fabric has a special stink-resistant treatment.

I have a peloton 97 top which I used as my sole insulating layer for a Colorado trail thru hike which lasted about a month. I wore it mostly in camp/to bed but also while hiking early or late in the day. It certainly wasn’t as perpetually fresh as merino tends to be but smelled much better than my synthetic hiking shirt.

I haven’t had any overly bad issues with stink with mine either.  It’s synthetic so it’s not going to perform as merino in that category, but better than merino in most others.

For the tiny weight penalty, I wouldn’t get anything but the hoody- my hood is used just about everyday I wear it.

^ yeah definitely a dyed in the wool hoody guy; even my lightest base layers have hoods! I use them in the worst heat to keep the sun off and they rest of the year to manage my temperatures- up, down, back up and so on :)

I wear a lightweight Smartwool under my Peloton. Keeps olfactories in check for a 4 day trip in cool weather. I love my SW 220 wt hoody. Just depends on the trip, but wet merino is not quick to dry. Peloton shines in wet weather.
