Kovea Spider stove, $32.50, Amazon Prime

Actually, I see several “fulfilled by Amazon” vendors have this at the same price (or 40¢ more), but this is still an unusually low price for Prime shipping.

Maybe they are trying to undercut the Massdrop that closes soon.  That’s at $34.75 (including shipping).

(I was looking at that before deciding I was still having fun playing with alcohol.)

I bought one and the packaging is in Korean. Normally I wouldn’t think twice but this is prominently displayed on the product page:

• All Kovea Products sold in the United States are in English Packaging. If you receive a product in Korean packaging please contact customer service, return product, and report seller. They are not authorized to sell Kovea products in the United States.
• Kovea will not honor any warranties with products purchased from unauthorized resellers.

Are the stoves identical? I don’t expect to utilize warranty service so as long as I haven’t received an inferior stove I think I’ll keep it despite the warning. Thoughts?

Received mine yesterday.  Instructions were in English, although the grammar was definitely written by someone whose English was not his first language.
