I have 2 extra permit spots for Sep 7-15 starting and ending at Shepherd Pass trailhead and my plan is to visit Kaweah Basin. I was inspired by excellent trip reports https://backpackinglight.com/forums/topic/59389/ and https://backpackinglight.com/forums/topic/25394/
The trip would take 8 or 9 days (exit on 9/14 or 9/15). I plan to fly into LAX or LAS on 9/6 and drive to the trailhead to start early the next day but I’m flexible. PM me if interested.
