I am looking at the Katabatic Flex online, and I notice that there is a snap in addition to the drawcord at the footbox to seal it. They have a 3 photo description showing how this works, but while I think I see reinforcement for the snaps in the pictures, they don’t really show how the snap works.
Does anyone have one of these that could post some pictures? Does it reliably close the hole in your experience?

Hi Thomas. Great video. Thank you! I had seen that before, but was not able to figure out exactly what was going on (black fabric on black fabric with a black snap and black webbing reinforcement), but now I figured it out. I am creating a similar product (I am starting a new brand called ZENBIVY) and spent a bunch of time solving the problem, only to remember that Katabatic had taken a crack at it before. Initially I thought I had spent a bunch of time reinventing the wheel, but in the end my solution is significantly different from theirs, and I think works a little bit better.
