Couldn’t resist responding to your GD reference, but I assume your talking about  the pyramid prototype.  Any details?

My friend Dan (the 48 Willys owner) took this picture for me for the tarp but he caught the sunbeams and the jeep too. It was a grand day out. Hiked to an old lookout on Taylor Ridge of the Kettle Crest in WA. It had rained and high winds the night we slept and we awoke to the sunshine.

The mid was a rectangular 6×8′ and proved just enough coverage for the two of us. With higher winds and blowing snow, or taller people it would need more length. Hope to make some slightly longer in the coming months.

The Willys has an attachment for a disking unit for farmers.

Not a Willy, but my beloved (and expensive to maintain) 74 Landcruiser.  Took that SOB all over, from CO winters to Logging trails.  Miss that puppy and sad I sold it.  Worth big $$ today.

So this Willys has a PTO? You can use it to plow the field?

Definitely    “make happy any man alive”
