Thoughts on an inexpensive UL down mid layer jacket/sweater that preferably is NOT made in China? Had a Uniqlo hooded down sweater for 3 years, but without a drawstring in the hood, it’s marginal. Their current models do have hood drawstrings, but at $69 are still made in China.
Montbell manufactures some of their down gear in Vietnam.
Some other gear makers also manufacture in Vietnam.
Uniqlo jackets are inexpensive and fit snug but made in chiner.
