I’m trying to get more skilled with winter camping this winter. I am also going to take an avalanche safety course. I have seen sites recommend an inclinometer. Can someone recommend an inclinometer that’s lightweight for winter backpacking? Most of the ones I see online look heavy.

Or get a Suunto MC-2 or similar which has a built-in inclinometer, and the M2 baseplate style has an inclinometer as well if you don’t need the sighting mirror.
FYI, the iPhone’s built-in compass app has an inclinometer too. Open the app, swipe left, and put the phone edge on to the slope.
