Good, new Simon Hill podcast on hydration. Stacy Sims, PhD, Hydration for Optimal Performance.

I am glad they talked about the insane amount of sodium in electrolytes being peddled today.

BC BOB just want to say thanks for sharing the proof!  The protein series have been great so far.  He holds up studies with seemingly contradicting outcomes and dives into the nuance of how the use cases differ or weaknesses in the studies’ methods.

It’s improved my understanding of protein types and timing, and will impact my trail diet.

Everyone these days just wants “the answer” and influences are all too happy to oblige with black or white misleading (or worse) health advise.  The proof seems to have the self discipline to avoid this.

Yeah, I’ve been listening to Simon Hill podcasts. I’ve found them to be very good.

They are long with a lot of detail.

He’s into a plant based diet but is tolerant of eating some meat.

Early days yet but what impresses me isn’t so much the length or detail, its the quality of the information. There are a lot of other long & detailed but myopic podcasters out there (the common condition)
