I am thinking about giving the 2.92 oz composite DCF from RSBTR a try to build a simple pack (note:  not a Pa’lante clone!).  This will be my first time with CF/DCF and I have a few questions:

    1.  What is the recommended needle/size, thread, stitch length for this type of fabric?
    2. How difficult is it to tape/seal?  Thinking about using the Dyneema repair tape, also from RSBTR.  Is this stuff any good?
    3. Anything else I need to know about working with this material?

If you have worked with silynon before, DCF is much easier. Actually a good recommendation could be first trying making a prototype by using Tyvek that is similar in properties (non-stretch, paper-like foldable) with DCF but much cheaper.
