Has anyone tried using the HMG pack pods in an MLD Burn? I find that stacking the pods in an internal frame pack (quilt, shelter, clothes) makes for really comfortable and effective back support. In looking at the measurements of the pods and the pack I’m skeptical that they will fit without deforming the shape of the pack.
I’ve used the smaller ones in a Nashville Cutaway without issue.
Same as Five Star…the pods will compress and conform and eliminate air space in your pack. As an aside, I own several of the HMG pods, and they’re great…but I also own 3 of the Six Moons silnylon pods for a fraction of the cost, and they are great as well.
