Ha maybe for DCF only shelter companies but MLD and Seek Outside sell both silnylon and DCF options for their MIDS/Silex. And yeah good point on finding a used single wall DCF shelter to repurpose. I’m curious to see what Dan comes up with in terms of being able to attach an inner to the tarp. I hope any attachment system could be added to the tarp and not permanently on it. Corner loops and peak buckles are only a few grams to worry about I guess but it is nice to have the tarp be as light as possible when you’re going with that option.
