I’m an older hiker (63) who had a stroke last summer. I’m looking to get into backpacking again with some easier trips this summer. I will be in northwest Wyoming the second half of July, and could have some time first half of August. Will also be in Montana and possibly farther west.
Stay flexible… that is normally smoke season…
Good for you starting this thread, and I hope you find some partners to help you enjoy a backpacking experience. If it is within your means, you could consider contacting an outfitter.
