Hello everyone,
Long time reader, first time poster.
I have a permit for 6 people to do the High Sierra Trail starting on August 17th, but so far it’s just my wife and I. I have also arranged an East Side Sierra Shuttle from Whitney Portal to Lodgepole Campground in SEKI on August 16th (this is $200/person cash paid to the driver).
Our plan is to make 12+ mile day but we’re flexible. We’re older (and the knees aren’t as great as they used to be) but we make good time.
