According to the LHG site, this tent is recommended for people 5’10” and shorter. I have seen pictures of a regular 20×72 NeoAir fitting inside with that appears to be rooom on either end of the foot and head. I totally get that once you add the pad, quilt, and yourself into the equation, vertical height diminishes.
Here’s where I’m flummoxed and I admit I’m not that bright when it comes to figuring out engineering numbers. The length of the tent is 133 inches with a height of 44 inches. If the recommended max height of a person to use the tent is 70 inches, this means that almost HALF of the length of the tent is unlivable space. With 63 inches of leftover room, that’s almost 3 feet of space on either end. Is the slope of the tent that drastic? Looking at pictures, it appears it’s not except at the very ends
I’m curious if anyone over 5’10” (or especially over 6”0″) has fit comfortably inside it?
I’m with the Solong6 so no need point me in that direction. I have always been fascinated with the useable interior of the Solo which is why I’m asking the above question.
