Claimed weight 11.5 oz/pair, but mine tip the scale at 5.9 oz each. I don’t like straps so I cut them off and they now weigh 5.1 oz each. I’m not aware of any other aluminum Z poles that light.

Black Diamond stopped offering the aluminum Distance Z’s in the 115 cm lengths a couple of years ago and it’s the size I much prefer. Anyway, I broke a 120 cm BD awhile back and was about to order another pair until I saw a sectionhiker review on the Helinox Passports. I must say that I am very much pleased with these poles. They are better than the Distance Z’s on every level. The Passports assemble and break down so much smoother and easier, no comparison. They also collapse to under 14 inches, which is 2″ shorter than the 120 cm BD’s. The Helinox Passport TL 115’s weighs about 1 ounce less each than alu Distance Z’s and MSRP is 150 USD, so are 30 dollars less than the Black Diamonds. I like them more than any new piece of gear I’ve bought in a long time. https://sectionhiker.com/review-helinox-passport-folding-aluminum-trekking-poles/

Only thing the BD’s might have over the Passports is they are a little larger diameter around the lower shafts, so probably a tad stronger, however they are aluminum and not carbon.
