GPX import error?

Hi Eric, send us a few of these GPX files to publisher@backpackinglight.com so we can analyze them. Shouldn’t be a big deal to build a custom adapter for them in TRIPS.

Unfortunately as these are from a small business like yourself, and copyrighted so I’m not comfortable sharing them. They were provided with purchase of Blackwood Press’  Tahoe Rim Trail Pocket Atlas.

You might be able to obtain a copy by emailing them at support@blackwoodspress.com and work something out with them for a free copy of all of the GPX files, since it’s in your shared interest?

Hi Eric – Eri(K) sent me the TRT file to analyze – looks like his GPX files only contain waypoints, there is no GPX route track in there. TRIPS imports routes only – otherwise, the distances are too inaccurate.
