I check GG’s website fairly often and I can’t remember seeing the Solo Tarp until now. I think it’s pretty new. Correct me if I’m wrong.
The GG Solo Tarp has very similar dimensions as the MLD Grace Solo, but the GG tarp has a 10′ 2″ long ridgeline. I like the weight, and the price is of course far less than a DCF Grace Solo (goes without saying not as strong though). According to the GG website, Solo Tarps won’t be available until June.

It’s new. I have the Twinn tarp and it is a solid performer for 1.  I bring a bivy ( enlightened equipment recon) and the tarp when camping in areas with little bug pressure and usually just cowboy camp under the stars and set up the tarp when it looks like rain.  I have about 2o nights under it in weather. I’m a happy GG customer.
