Can anyone explain the difference between these Windstopper and Windbloc and why you’d choose one over the other? I can’t seem to find any direct comparison, even though these two fabrics/technologies have been around for at leas ten years. I assume they have undergone some change and improvements over the years. Thanks for your help!

WS is made of ePTFE, WB from PU. WS will breathe a bit better and is slightly air-permeable (CFM < 1 while Windbloc has a CFM = 0), but don’t expect too much.
so both are basically not breathable, and therefore would be bad choices for high exertion activity? Thanks!
It depends on your physiology. But basically yes.
