Copy and Paste appears to work properly if I slect “Text” first.

I too don’t know that much about French politics but
It gives me hope maybe things could turn around here
When things get so bad, it becomes obvious and change is possible
Lordy, I hope Hillary doesn’t run again : )

If I select “visual” (or allow it to select itself as the default) I get gobblygook.

Gobblygook is obvious without actually hitting submit.

Would love to see you do one more test. Using Edge as you did before, try to copy and paste, into visual, some text from a post, but omit the first and last letter in the text. So if you were to copy “omit the first and last letter” you would try to copy “mit the first and last lette” and paste that in. See if it still comes up with gobbleygook.
