I am familiar with Glacier Gloves but on Amazon, I see Dr. Shade Glacier Glove with a product that does not perfectly fit the Glacier Glove website. Is this the same company or a knock off?

Not sure of the connection. I have this glove from amazon Glacier Glove Synthetic Leather Palm Gray Sunglove by Glacier Glove I have had to restitch the fingers on several occasions There is the similar glove like you mentioned by Dr. Shade, no idea on that.
I also have this glove and it is far supperior in workmanship. Warmers Sun Paddling Glove. Very slightly heavier, not noticable except in the quailty of materials.

I have a pair of the plain Glacier Gloves and they look nearly identical to the Dr. Shade one’s but have a “GG” printed on the fingers. Either way, I’d guess the quality and materials are the exact same. They most likely come from the same factory.
Mine are starting to show significant wear after just a few hikes though, so I’m actually interested in the previous post’s ‘Warmers Sun Paddling Gloves’ now. Not to stray too far from the OP….. but I’m curious how the leather palms manage heat and sweat?
The leather is very thin. Virtually no thermal difference. Probably not even real leather. Just thicker than the Glacier or Dr Shade
