GGG XII IS CANCELED!!!

Just posted the following to the existing GGG XII thread:

The Sierra Club has cancelled all group activities for the next 30 days at least. State Parks are on the verge of canceling all group events organized by them. All group events in SF with more than 50 people have been cancelled. Gov. Newsome just announced a statewide ban on all events of more than 250 people. Etc., etc., etc.

IN LIGHT OF THE ABOVE GGG XII IS HEREBY CANCELED!!!

I will try and PM everyone who has said they were planning to go. I’ll call the Visitor Center tomorrow and see if I can get a refund of the $160 for the reservation.

If there is interest we can try again for Fall.

I’m disappointed that we had to do this. But it’s all about timing: In these months while the pandemic is still growing and spreading in the USA, it is not wise to underestimate the hazards.
