Do your GG LT5 trekking poles have open holes in the top ? Or is there some type of plug that was removed from the used pair I have ?

The pair of GG LT5’s I purchased used do. The hole appears to be to remove the straps . The holes appear to be factory made, not diy. So I texted GG ( of course you can not call anyone these days ) inquiring if I could purchase any type of replacement plugs or caps. GG repeatedly claimed that the LT5’s Do not have any type of holes in the top of the grips. Adding that there was nothing they could do to assist me.

Send them a close up picture to make your point that there is.

That’s kind of a strange response, when you think about it.  From the position of someone whom deals with questions like this (albeit in a different industry) I want to see what someone is talking about when a potential issue arises.  Pictures often tell more information than the customer’s (usually garbled or misinformed) description.  I’m not sure why they would shut you down apropos of nothing.

Did you get them used? Seems if you got them new you’d know this, so if they’re used perhaps the holes are DIY after all. I agree with others, send a pic.
