Sometimes I just spend an hour (or more) studying the awesome practical beauty of Dan McHale’s packs as shown on his website.
I noticed on his “Letter” page a few new tricks. Cords for side compression straps, roll-top tops (or even combo drawstring+roll-top!), and removable bottom compression straps. (Actually, that last item was on his company Facebook page which he seems to have last updated in 2014. Oh, I just found his personal Facebook page— it’s still being updated and has some packs on it.)
He also sometimes uses hybrid DCF fabric, but I don’t see any Xpac. Guess he doesn’t see it as a worthy material. I wonder why not.
