GEAR SWAP IMAGES

Hey Ken. It works. I just tested it here.

I believe you have to post with one image then go back and update with additional images. That’s how I just did it, at least.

You have to post the listing, then edit it to add photos. It shouldn’t be this way, ideally.

Faulty UI design, IMO. Should allow for all to be uploaded during time of creating listing. It should also make the first upload of the thumbnail a full-size image that can be clicked on for more detail. If you upload just the first image, it is only thumbnail sized, and you have to edit the listing and add the same photo again to have one version in higher definition.

Ken, you have two replies telling how to add images. It’s not 100% broken. You have to post the Gear Swap listing, then Edit it to add more images. It shouldn’t be this way, but that is what all of us have been doing to get images on there.

Totally understand. My purpose was to receive input/feedback from members and illuminate the issue to BPL as they have as of yet responded to my inquiry. I feel the video  https://support.backpackinglight.com/article/89-how-to-post-a-new-gear-swap-listing  should be updated so others that are interested and would not know how to tackle this issue would know how to post more than one pic if they seem necessary to define their posting.

I’ve logged the issue in our tracking system.

I know it’s not working in the manner that people would like but a solution has been offered. I’m going to close the thread.
