I liked the part where Tony didn’t like the rover concept and did everything he could to scuttle it, then, when he was forced to accept it took credit for it

I could have almost put in the MYOG section.  I have to watch it again. I got busy and missed a lot.

that’s what happens with a video that takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.  I was exercising on my bike for most of it so it was difficult to be distracted.

Okay you shamed me. Brought my bike in from the garage. I think I’m just going to watch a short video..

I thought it was a great tribute. His next video is supposed to be on baselayers.

Yeah, that was a great tribute to his dad who was a great engineer

And the gear skeptic got his start also at jpl working with his dad.

My father worked on the Apollo Luner Rover in the late 60’s and early 70’s, I still remember the signed photo he gave me of it on the moon after the mission, I wish I still had it.

Added it to my “watch later” list for mornings on the elliptical. My dad worked on Apollo 8 and received one of the medals with a certificate signed by Frank Borman (they gave away lots of these).
